Following on from the BID’s International Women’s Day Event we are pleased to host this 'Driving Diversity through Recognising Unconscious Bias Training Session'.

This is a free, interactive event for Brackmills businesses, running from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Wednesday, 20th November.

Unconscious bias profoundly influences decision-making, often resulting in missed opportunities to create a diverse and inclusive workforce.

In this interactive workshop, participants will explore distinct types of unconscious bias through real life examples, gaining insights into how bias impacts our judgment. We will walk through day-to-day situations where bias plays a role, fostering a deeper understanding of its effects and then equip participants with actionable strategies to create a fair and positive work environment. Participants will learn tools to challenge internal stereotypes within their workplace.

This session will be run by Helen Russell of The Right Track Consultancy

Places are limited and all attendees must pre-register, please email [email protected] to book your space. The venue and additional details will be provided once you have registered.
