“We are a third-party shared user distribution centre and transport company, and are proud to be based on Brackmills and at the heart of the UK, an area known in logistics as the ‘Golden Triangle’. We provide transport and warehousing services across the whole country and our Brackmills base means we have easy access to the M1, great for our local services and also for our trucks which need to access the many essential transportation routes throughout the UK.
Brackmills BID benefits us in so many ways. A particular benefit for us are the regular meetings we attend which focus on security on the estate. These meetings give us the opportunity to mix with other businesses on the estate, which has in turn often lead to partnerships. Thanks to the BID we have met and now work with fellow Brackmills businesses. One example sees us rent warehousing space from one of our neighbours, a benefit to us both.
The BID also ensures estate roads are regularly gritted throughout the winter, which is an essential matter of safety to us as a transport company. The security cameras on our estate are excellent too and we always get emergency alerts if any traveller encampments are in the area or there are any other potential security issues. The BID makes a huge and wholly positive difference to our business.”
