More than 30 cyclists have already signed up for the annual cycle ride Ride for Hope organised by Brackmills based Pidy UK.

The 3-day challenge will take cyclists around some of the most attractive parts of Holland raising much needed funds for the Hope Centre. Cyclists can choose to ride either 200 or 300 miles through some of Holland’s best coastal paths and picturesque countryside.

The pastry company have organized this event for the past seven years and so far, have raised over £140,000. This year the ride will take place from 11th – 13th September.

Robert Whittle, Managing Director for Pidy UK says: “We’ve got capacity for 30 more cyclists, so we’d really urge you to join us and be a part of this journey. This is a charity that is close to my heart and it’s so great to be involved in a challenge that’s for such an important cause.

The organisers are appealing for more Brackmills organisations to get involved so it would be great if you and your teams could join us”

Sara Homer, Brackmills BID CEO said: “Brackmills is once again delighted to be supporting this event – I will be driving a support vehicle and cheering all the cyclist on. It’s for such a worthy cause and I’d love for there to be a big Brackmills presence along the way.”

IN’n’OUT who are now based on Brackmills are again sponsoring the event with cycling shirts

If you don’t think you’re quite up for the 3-day challenge, how about a 1-day challenge instead? In addition to the 3-day bike ride, the Ride for Hope team will be hosting a 1-day challenge in Northamptonshire. Whether you cycle often or just once a year, you can join them for this family event and experience.
