About Jon

Jon is the Director at IN'n'OUT Autocentres, a national MOT, service and car maintenance specialist. The business has been in Northampton since 2008 and have developed a lot of strong links over our time here, continuing to strengthening these with fellow Brackmills businesses.

As Brackmills started its third term as a Business Improvement District (BID) in 2019, to help celebrate and support that, IN'n'OUT Autocentres gifted offices and a meeting room space to the BID team, giving them a dedicated and spacious home for the first time.

Giving back locally is something Jon feels strongly about. This is why Jon became a director of the BID, he enjoys volunteering his time to help shape the estate and support businesses on the estate to thrive.

In Jon’s words

“There are more than 18,000 employees working on Brackmills and, put simply, this means there are an awful lot of cars that need servicing. Our location and the excellent public transport links also mean it is easy for our staff to get to work, which is important.

Being part of a Business Improvement District (BID) brings with it a sense of community – Brackmills is far more than just a place to work and is always buzzing with life and people. It is well cared for and well maintained and we particularly value the green spaces and pocket parks which encourage us to get out and have walking meetings with our team – far better than sitting behind a desk.

When we first opened our Brackmills site I was keen to find out more about the BID and promptly became a director, which means I volunteer my time to help steer the estate. When the BID team were looking for an office nearly five years ago I wanted to help and I now donate office space so the BID has a permanent home. It is important to me to support local and give back.

In ‘n’ Out Autocentres has been based on Brackmills since 2018, and in Northampton since 2006. This is our third location in Northampton and we service, maintain and MOT vehicles of all makes.”
