Charlotte Patrick
Northamptonshire Logistics Awards Lead
Why is the BID important to her?
In 2004, Charlotte started working for Invest Northamptonshire, where she worked with local businesses across the county, some of who were and still are based on Brackmills. She has been involved with the BID since the start, and witnessed how important it is for companies to collaborate in order to make a difference. She has both organised and attended many BID events. Currently this includes hosting the Health, Safety and Wellbeing forum, which now take place on Brackmills, to support employers across the estate, and crucially help to identify areas that require improvement.
Charlotte sat on the board when businesses on the estate first voted ‘yes’ to Business Improvement District (BID) status. Charlotte has been a Director for many years, working to support the diverse range of organisations across the estate.
Supporting logistics
Charlotte is well known in Northamptonshire for helping to organise the Northamptonshire Logistics Awards, of which the Brackmills BID is one of the key sponsors. Charlotte works tirelessly to bring these celebrations of logistics to life, with scores of Brackmills businesses entering and winning over the years.
Outside of work
Outside work, Charlotte is renowned for her chocolate brownies, and she is keen to explore the country in her campervan with her husband and two daughters. She also volunteers for Northamptonshire Crimestoppers and is currently Acting Chair.
