OUR HISTORY
Formed in 2000, SAS logistics was created to provide greater Security to the mobile phone industry using predominantly Ex-Military personnel. Having developed an excellent reputation as a secure, reliable, cost-effective provider of logistics solutions to customers around the UK and Europe, we were then able to build on our initial offering and start offering more joined up, logistics solutions. Our extensive fleet, experience and capability allowed us to broaden our services to include warehousing, deployment, installation, decommissioning, collection and secure transportation of all types of assets.
In 2012 SAS was bought out by the current Directors and moved to our Brackmills, Northamptonshire, head office. From our centralised Northampton site, SAS offered extensive, white glove services to the ITAD and OEM IT sectors. In September 2020, SAS expanded and opened new sites in Rijen, Netherlands and in Charlestown, Dublin.
In recent years, SAS has become synonymous for Tech Services within the OEM and Channel Reseller markets, working with the Words largest Tech OEM’s in both the UK and Europe. This prompted SAS Logistics to adopt a rebrand and become SAS Tech Services, to better reflect the growing services.
Mark Meadowcroft and his team operate Signs Express(Northampton) from a new purpose built unit at the heart of Brackmills Industrial Estate. We’ve been trading for many years, but moved to state of the art premises in August 2010.
